About me

Yunzhe Li is the Team Leader of SRM competing for RoboMaster at Shanghai University, and alumni of FIRST® and RoboMaster. He served as the Team Leader of FTC 1408-Facing The Giants at Shanghai Xinzhuang Senior High School from 2017-2020.

Yunzhe Li is a passionate robotics practitioner with diverse experience in robotics competitions, researches on Machine Learning within NASICON, computer vision applications of industrial robots and machine learning practical applications. His research interests in robotics fixates on manipulation and recognition, especially for advanced abilities in complex environments, to empower robots to collaborate with human more efficiently in hazardous tasks like earthquake salvation and deep sea expedition. In addition to his technical contributions, he is a regional leading voice for inspiring young generations to better explore the world with STEM and to transform our culture by creating a global community where science and technology are celebrated.

Yunzhe Li has been promoting FIRST® and RoboMaster in the community to ensure the on-target understanding of science and technology, including being interviewed by Jiefang Daily News and Shanghai Baoshan District Wechat Public Account, where I encouraged university students to apply theories into practice, and participating in the Minhang - Hong Kong Students Science and Technology Summer Camp, Regional TV show: Super Parents Club, Regional TV show: Young Edison, YEA (Young Entrepreneur Academy), where I advocated girls and boys to enjoy equal opportunities in STEM and robotics industry.

Yunzhe Li is a recipient of the 1st Prize of Robot Combat Awards of Sentry Robot of RMUC 2023, Final Tournament, 3rd Place in 3V3 Match of RMUL 2023, Regional Competition(Shanghai), the Inspire Award in FIRST® Tech Challenge Shanghai American School Qualifier in 2018, several 2nd and 3rd Prizes in RMUL/RMUC in 2022 and 2023, and 3 Connect Awards in 2018 and 2019. He was a participant of FIRST® Detroit World Championship - Edison Division in 2018.
